    Leonel Ernesto Villasenor appeals from the district court’s order denying his
    motion for compassionate release under 
    18 U.S.C. § 3582
    (c)(1)(A)(i). Pursuant to
    Anders v. California, 
    386 U.S. 738
     (1967), Villasenor’s counsel has filed a brief
    stating that there are no grounds for relief, along with a motion to withdraw as

    supplemental brief. No pro se supplemental brief or answering brief has been

    Our independent review of the record pursuant to Penson v. Ohio, 
    488 U.S. 75
    , 80 (1988), discloses no arguable grounds for relief. See United States v. Aruda,
    
    993 F.3d 797
    , 799 (9th Cir. 2021) (setting forth abuse of discretion standard for
    sentence reduction decisions under § 3582(c)(1)).
    Counsel’s motion to withdraw is GRANTED.
    AFFIRMED.
