The contracts here in question constituted violations of the state sustained yield act, Laws of 1933, chapter 175 (Rem. Rev. Stat. (Sup.), § 7879-1). Their only justification was the war emergency. With V-J day, August 14, 1945, there ended the last semblance of such justification.
