Neither the brief nor a motion for extension of time was filed. On December 19, 2018, this court ordered appellant to file within fifteen days her brief and a written response reasonably explaining: (1) her failure to timely file a brief, and (2) why appellee is not significantly injured by appellant’s failure to timely file a brief. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(a). On January 3, 2019, appellant filed her brief, as well as a response and motion requesting leave to late file the brief. We GRANT appellant’s motion for leave and accept the brief filed on January 3, 2019.
